Sometimes, with team sports pictures, parents are hoping for something different than what they receive. In my case, I took matters into my own hands with Ethan and Hayden. Ethan had not had track photos taken and Hayden's were not optimal. We headed down to South Callaway's track to get a series of photos of the two kids before they had to turn in their uniforms, and I think they did a great job. I know for a fact that the parents are happier with the results! ;)

How about a little teaser from last night's family session? This is easily one of my favorite images - not just because the baby is adorable or the mom's big smile... it's the dad's expression. As a dad myself, I know that smile. It's one that comes from emotions deep down that having a kid of your own brings to the surface. It's kind of a quiet smile full of love and pride that those without kids may not understand. However, as a dad, I know the feelings that come with that smile. It's powerful. Have an awesome day!
