About Frankie Vance Photography

A few years ago, when Frankie Vance Handcrafted was born (my handcrafted soap business), I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a name for my business.

I wanted to choose something that was strong and had a personal meaning. My mother is my co-owner. We wanted to celebrate the women who made us. Choosing my grandmothers’ names was a no-brainer.

Frankie Whitt and Clara Vance Kirkpatrick were the strongest and most loving women I’ve ever known, so it was a no brainer to name my “baby” after them.

Frankie Vance is my tribute to their strength, creativity, and love for the people around them, and a little hope that I’m a lot like them.
