Sometimes before I create a post, I sit and think about the words I want to say. Somehow I want to capture the emotion. I want to highlight a family's connection or the fun they bring to the session.

The words rarely come, though. I can never find a way to fully capture it.

Sometimes the most unexpected phone calls lead to something really special. 🤍

This afternoon, I got a call asking if I could photograph a wedding—with the ceremony just minutes away. It wasn’t how any of us expected our afternoon to unfold, but I’m so thankful I could say yes.

There is so much trust involved in inviting someone to capture your wedding day. To this sweet couple and their family: thank you for welcoming me into yours and trusting me on such short notice. From the moment I arrived, you made me feel like I belonged there.

Getting to step in and preserve these memories for you was such a privilege. You deserved beautiful photographs to remember this day, and I’m so happy I could be there to make that happen.
