Yes, I post a lot of posed photographs from weddings. However, a lot of the photographs in wedding galleries are candid moments that are sometimes just small moments that may be not remembered or just ‘this is normal for us…and special…it’s…us.’ Those moments are worth showing also. Don’t take the little ‘us’ moments for granted. It makes the couple uniquely an ‘us’ vs a perfectly posed moment in time.

Featuring these two again because they’re friends of mine, an image came up in memory, and, yes, I fully support love all year round.

Hair and makeup artists are like the drummers for wedding days. Hire people you can trust or else…all I can say is I’ve heard horror stories. I’ve also seen timelines all out of wack due to things being ‘off.’

This being said, I love hmua’s. They’re usually super friendly and easy to talk to. This post is for those artists and the model who was super fun to work with. 10 out of 10 recommend them.

Hey F/M area! I have mini to full photoshoot availability THIS Saturday, June 6th and Saturday, June 20th. If you would like a different date this month, please book a half hour or more photoshoot. Mini’s begin at $100 for 15 minutes. Book ASAP!

Happy June and first month of summer! It’s the first time I get to post my friend’s wedding during pride month featuring a few photographs from their wedding. There is a whole blog featuring their wedding on my website. I’m grateful that I got to be part of their wedding day!

This upcoming Saturday is the run in Moorhead, MN. If you want to: help a good cause (to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis) come out, meet some great people, eat some food, listen to inspiring stories, and walk a little (just 1.5 miles), register!

It’s a great cause, and check in is at 10am…so you can sleep in. This will be my third year covering the event. I’m excited to help out in my little photography way!

It’s summer…as in 90 degree or so heat outside. Anyone else want a water fan like thing attached them?
