Yesterday I decided to try my hand at painting our dogs in watercolor. This is the first time I have tried that in real paint as opposed to when I do my digital painting. I’m attaching my reference photos and my paintings.

Part 2 of Camri's session- her new professional headshots! Camri always look amazing in blue with her crystal blue eyes, so that's a must include color, but I really liked the black top too, and we threw in a few outdoor images as well, with a contrasting red tank with the green leaves. I always appreciate a visit from Camri for her new headshots whenever she's back in the area!

Hinckley-Anderson family portraits! Camri Anderson was recently home from her most recent contract position and needed new headshots, but she wanted to include her parents in some updated family images! I was thrilled- we have been friends with this family since Camri and my daughter were very small and took dance together. They have since grown up, but Charlene and I still get together for lunch dates to catch up even though the precious days of wading through piles of dance costumes and tutus are over.

Part one: This precious couple met in college band at Millikin where they both played trumpet and have since both become music/band teachers in public schools. They had never had "cute couple portraits" taken together, so Dom contacted me about doing so, with a twist: he wanted to propose to Abi during the session! And so, he did...and she said YES!

It's always such a treat to sit front row on special days like these-I'll never take for granted, the trust my clients put on me to capture these moments and make them look amazing!

Well, we discovered recently that our website has been down for many months without knowing it. That could partially explain the drop in business, I suppose! We have looked into this and filed tech support tickets to no avail, and it seems like we have to build a new website from scratch, unfortunately. Needed an update anyway probably!
