Scheduling, Cancellation, and Rescheduling
Unless stated otherwise, a deposit is required for all booked sessions to hold the date. The full deposit is required when the session is booked. The amount of the deposit paid is subtracted from the total amount due for your session. If you need to cancel your session for any reason, please notify us as soon as you are aware of the situation. If you can
notify us 72 hours before your session, we will happily offer to reschedule your session into an open time slot with no fee. If you notify us with less than 72 hours, we will attempt to reschedule your session into an open time slot if possible. If not possible, there will be a minor fee. If you notify us that you need to cancel your session at least 72 hours before your session, your full deposit is refundable. If less the 72 hours, your deposit will be refunded minus the cancellation fee. At our discretion, sessions may be canceled and/or rescheduled due to inclement weather. We will contact you as soon as we are aware of any poor weather conditions. Blue Suede Photography is not at fault for any sudden weather changes. All photo shoots that are postponed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled at no cost to you the client. If your children are sick the day of the shoot, please notify us. If you decide, we will attempt to photograph them but sick children do not always want to respond so a reschedule may be needed. If this needs to happen due to a sick child, please contact us so arrangements can be made. In the event of a sick child, the normal fee for a last minute cancellation is very, very negotiable. We do understand that somethings are out of your control and we also do not want to do any unnecessary harm to the children. We reserve the right to reschedule your photography session at no cost to you. If an acceptable date is available it will be rescheduled with no additional cost to you. If an acceptable date isn’t available, a full refund or discount on other services will be offered. Refunds, Returns, and Other Situations
First and foremost, we understand that we will not be able to make everyone happy. If you are one of the ones that we cannot make happy please tell us. Once notified, we will attempt to fix it to the best of our abilities. If you do have any dissatisfaction with your finished photos, please contact us as quick as you can so that a resolution can be found to both of our mutual satisfaction. This resolution may include another photo shoot at our discretion to replace any photos. We ask for a quick response about the dissatisfaction so we can match the re-shoot photos to the original photos as close as we can. A long wait time may change the available lighting or landscape so matching photos are not possible. With that being said, we give you 14 days from the day the photographs are delivered to voice any concerns or dissatisfaction. Refunds are not generally available as service has been rendered in the form of the photo-shoot. If there are any questions please contact us. Due to the nature of digital photography, returns are not available. Any processed, ordered printed materials are not returnable as they are a very unique product. In case of missing photographs, please contact us as early as you can so we can rectify the situation by either locating the missing photographs or re-shooting them. We cannot fix any situation that we are not aware of so again, please notify us as soon as you are aware that you are missing any photographs. The longer you wait to notify us, the greater the possibility that we will either be unable to locate the missing photos or be able to re-shoot them. Print Releases and Contracts
Unless stated otherwise, all photo sessions come with print release that will allow you to print as many of the delivered photos as you would like up to an 8 by 10 at your convenience from photo print centers such as WalGreens or Wal-Mart. If larger sizes are desired, please contact us and will offer a different version of the print release or print options for you. A contract is required for all special events. This contract spells out what specific shots will be attempted to be captured by us. Disclaimer
Beauty is simple. It can be found everywhere. This is our motto and we strive to make it as simple for you as we can. However, sometimes there are things beyond our control. We will do our best to capture your memories to the best of our abilities. As with any business, we do reserve the right to deny service to any person or group that we feel is showcasing a hostile attitude towards Blue Suede Photography, our photographers, our other employees, or any of our clients. Your completed photos are intended for private, noncommercial use, such as social media, sharing with family and friends, and printing for personal use or sharing. If uploaded to social media sites, we ask that credit is given to Blue Suede Photography. The images may not be altered in any way and no Instagram filters maybe applied to the images. All digital images remain the property of Blue Suede Photography. Blue Suede Photography retains copyrights to all images, per USC Title 17 (US Copyright Law). Blue Suede Photography reserves the right to use images from this session for display, publication, advertising, or other purposes. No images taken can or will be sold by Blue Suede Photography unless express written consent is given by you the client. Any photographs taken by Blue Suede Photography cannot and will not be edited in any manner by any person or persons who is not associated and or hired by Blue Suede Photography to do so. If any additional editing options is requested, please contact us with your requests. Any photographs that you request additional edits can be completed for a small nominal fee. Backups and Archives
All photos given to you the customer will be backed up for at least three months before the possibility of deletion. If long term storage is needed, please contact us with any questions. By your request, we will archive a backup copy of your photos for long-term storage. The archive is offered at a significant discount however there is a fee for copying any photos saved this way. Travel
Travel by us to your photography session location is negotiable by request. The price for said travel is based on the session itself, the location of said session, and the distance and time needed. Please contact us with any questions and a quick estimate of the price for travel. Travel time is based on the Westside of Jacksonville and is centered on 32244.
