While I’ve been the guy behind the lens 95% of the time, it’s no secret that this business has always been family-based!
From the very beginning, we’ve tried to let our business ebb and flow alongside our kids as they grow, navigate new seasons, and experience different phases of life. And here we are… one driving us around in her Jeep, the other taking us out on the boat, and all of us learning to embrace this beautiful season we’re in.
Our family has been so blessed to capture and experience countless special moments, and we’re incredibly grateful for every bit of it. But with that gratitude comes a few changes in our business as we make room for this next chapter.
We’ll still be behind the lens, but things may look a little different moving forward.
Lately, we’ve slowed down and become more intentional with our time… and honestly, it’s been beautiful. We’re chasing more sunrises and sunsets, jumping in the ocean for midday resets, working on projects with our kids, living in the moment, embracing our sports-parent era, and getting outfished by our son. 😂🎣
These are the moments. The ones we want to be fully present for.
We’ve absolutely loved capturing such special memories for your families over the years. It’s been an honor to be a small part of so many meaningful seasons in your lives. At the same time, we’ve been learning to leave a little more room to simply enjoy and experience this season of our own.
So, yes, we’re still photographing, but on a much more limited basis. Moving forward, you’ll be seeing more of Britt and Lyla behind the lens, especially as Lyla has recently developed a greater interest in photography. What a special opportunity for them to learn, create, and bond together! ❤️
As for me, I’ll be spending a little more time on projects, behind the scenes, editing, supporting my girls, or out fishing with Gavin.
And with that, stay tuned for limited fall sessions with my girls behind the camera!
