4. I now also have a link to pay the retainer fee. This must be paid day of booking to secure your session. This helps with no shows. Because if i clear my weekend for sessions and you don’t show up i will cry 😂🤪

This is something that NEEDS to be talked about!!
When advertising a themed session or looking for a model call for a specific shoot .. do not include photos you’ve found on Pinterest. It does not matter if you add in the post these are just inspirational pics.
Here’s why :
1. Copyright issues – The photographer owns the rights to their images. Using their photos in your marketing without permission can violate copyright law.
2. False advertising - even stating inspiration potential clients may believe the photos will represent your work or editing style.

Look at the last two photos from my beginner photography days when i had no major clientele and had no idea what i was going. I still set up the whole mini session set up in my front yard to use as advertising!

You may not know this but i have a small client closet. It has women’s and children items. On my website you can see the items and all the information.

When choosing your outfits for your session remember these : Coordinate colors, don't match exactly , Mix solids with subtle patterns , Add texture through lace, linen, knits, or corduroy.

But most importantly wear what you love and what makes you comfortable.
