A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when the bass are biting. 🧙‍♂️

The St. Johns River Challenge continues! 🎣

My name is Jameson, and I'm on a mission to catch every species of fish in the St. Johns River.

On trip 4, I launched my kayak at the Lonnie Wurn Boat Ramp and fished Mill Cove, a cove right off the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. I was hoping for a late-season tarpon, some sea trout, and a flounder. I started by throwing a Z-Man PrawnStarZ around the docks, then worked the grass line around Pauline Island and New Castle Island with live blue crab and shrimp. The tarpon never showed, but I checked a flounder off the list and picked up a bonus redfish at the docks!

Species caught: Flounder (plus a bonus redfish)

Total species caught: 6

Next target: Tarpon? Snook?

Follow along as I work my way through the St. Johns River and try to catch them all!
