How absolutely fun is this!?! I can't believe I got one of my favorite families to dress down for a holiday session and just be super casual on a farm with donkeys and a fire pit! This family never ceases to amaze me and I absolutely love being a part of documenting how much these kids have grown! Enjoy this little peak! XOXO

Hoping you all had an amazing Thanksgiving!
For those of you who know, it won't surprise you that I have worked every Thanksgiving day for the last 11 years.
I know it seems odd, but doing photos at this location every year for a family I adore has become a tradition I love.. Plus, I get to go home and enjoy my own little piece of this world with the people I love, even if some of them are on the west coast and it's only talking about our day.
I'm am very thankful for this life and all the beautiful things I have captured and experienced along the way.

Today is my 25th wedding anniversary. It started off with the most amazing gesture I could ever imagine.
A little back story might help you understand what this meant to me....
I've been a professional wedding photographer for more than three decades. Trust me when I say in my 777 weddings, I've seen it all.
To me, my wedding bouquet is the most perfect one I've ever seen or photographed, mainly because it was made of all my favorite flowers, especially peonies and ranuncalus.
I started off my 25th anniversary with a replica of the bouquet I carried down the aisle that my husband had my dear friend and designer extraordinaire. make for me. The waterworks were real, yall! It was nothing I would have ever expected and everything I could have ever dreamed of, all at the same time!
The road to a 25th anniversary is not always strown about with flowers and grand gestures. It's filled with so many peaks and valleys. It's truly mind-blowing.
I can say with 100% certainty, if you absolutely can't imagine life without your soulmate, then do the hard work. That's the only way. It really gets insanely hard, but if that's your person, then these moments make it worth it.
Men, let's make a replica of the wedding bouquet a thing! That's a straight-up baller move!
