“If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.”
I’m so honored to have been allowed to share this families story. Carey and Bonnie have had a long journey from struggles to get pregnant as planned, the sadness of loss and the long 9 months of pregnancy.
Bonnie was scheduled to work this weekend and Carey was not back from working out of town. The only plan was to go to her scheduled Dr. appointment Friday afternoon.
However, Early Friday morning, she went into labor, thankful her mother was already here. Carey made it home in plenty of time.
It was two years ago that Bonnie’s father was hospitalized for open heart surgery, with full recovery. 1 year ago that they suffered a loss but on this day June 14, 2019, God’s plans out weighed their own and provided a day full of love and joyous emotion. Her father also reminded her that it was National bourbon day! Another good way to celebrate.
