My own family session was at the exact location more than a few years ago…I have been Jacksonville family photographer for over 10 years now and this still gets me teary. I see my own kids expressions in your photos… I remember little attitude of my 11 year old and sweet hugs that left forever imprints on my skin from my 8 years old… The shutter clicks, but behind the camera I smile with sweet memories passing in my head and remember how precious they are. I don't think I truly knew!!!And I wonder: where have I put pictures from our family session??? Why in the world would I not want to see them on my wall every day before craziness of life starts?? Thank you sweethearts for reminding me of this!!!And I so agree with this wonderful momma! Momma with full hands, busy mind with all that needs to be done and heart that just wants express her love and unconditional devotion for these boys!Momma that finally said: IT’S TIME to book our session!“This moment in time can never be redone. Don’t just capture it, create art with it.” Yall, we rescheduled this family photoshoot twice before we finally made it happen. Between outfit anxiety, changing schedules, four boys not exactly thrilled about a photoshoot and haircuts for everyone, every time, was chaos. I was more stressed about this shoot than truly anything else on my calendar in the last 6 months. But God inserted a blessing who goes by Monika, who captures family art, not family portraits. She guided us through everything (a few times 😬) location, outfits, how to stand, how to pose, and even offered polish treats as bribes for the kids which paid off extremely well. What we walked away with wasn’t just photos. It was three generations captured in one frame, a moment I know is a gift from the Lord. Monika didn’t just take pictures, she helped us create art for our family. Something we’ll have forever”
