You ever said no to God? Because I did....3 years ago when I felt the Holy Spirit tugging at my heart to start taking pictures. It's certainly not something I'm proud of, but I had all the excuses back then

I'm not good enough
There's already enough photographers
Who would ask me to take their picture?
Why bother, we're just going to move back to California soon....

That last excuse makes me laugh because thanks to Hurricane Florence, we in fact, did not end up back in California and will be spending several more years here in Eastern North Carolina. Sometimes I wonder what would my life look life if I'd just said yes. Thanks to a lovely conversation with an amazing photographer (Hailey Faria Photography, who I was blessed enough to run into at a local coffee shop) I decided there's no better time to start trusting God's plans over my own

So to all my Jacksonville, Florida friends I have one more session available on Wednesday March 4 if anyone wants to snag it!
