Baby Reed has had 2 open heart surgeries in his 8 months of life and looking at him, I bet you’d never guess it! He was discharged just 3 DAYS after his second OHS! 🤯 I will never not marvel at these amazing heart warrior babies!

If you knew a season of life was about to change, would you make sure you had photos of the “before”?

Haleigh and her boyfriend (swipe to pic 3... they’re the cutest 🥹) booked a session while they were vacationing in St. Augustine before he leaves to serve in the Army. They wanted to celebrate this chapter, honor his commitment, and preserve these moments before everything looks a little different.

I love sessions like this because they remind me that photos aren’t just for milestones after they happen. They’re for the moments right before them, too.

Take the photos. You’ll never regret having them.

📷👇🏼 (And ESPECIALLY as a mom myself)

01. Your kid’s nap time matters more to me than golden hour when it comes to your photos.
Happy, smiling and rested babies are better than any sunset!

02. Mental health is a legitimate reason to postpone a session.
I will always reschedule you if you don’t feel ‘ready’ to face the camera that day with your family. Never feel bad for letting me know it’s just not a good day.

03. There is no shame in the bribe. 😅
Treats, Candy, Chocolate; if you tell your kid they get something for getting through the session I will help you hype that up so hard. And you better get some too!

04. No gallery photo limits, ever. If I took the photo and I like it, I edit the photo and it goes to you.
These are your family memories and I will never gatekeep them for the sake of making a $ or perceived efficiency.

05. Print your photos.
It doesn’t have to be a huge wall canvas. Heck, you could get a bunch of 4x6 prints from Walgreens and make a collage. Just print them and put them somewhere, THEY ARE YOURS!

06. Your best photos can be at home in the mess.
You never need to clean up before I come over for a session. I know what a home with a newborn actually looks like, and I know it ain’t always pretty 😅 We will get great photos regardless, I promise.

A 20 person family session was my biggest in a while, but I loved getting to hang out with this beautiful bunch! Always thankful for my friends who become clients and now we get to hangout together and take all the pretty pictures. 🥰 Best job ever!
