A little over 9 months ago Kara and I were at the OBGYN for her periodic appointment to check in on Elliot. During this appointment, while in the waiting room, I saw a guy and his wife and I notice the guy was wearing a MAF hat which happened to the missionary aviation organization that I had gone to Ecuador with in college, which ended up being a life changing trip for me.

Anyways, I struck up a conversation, we connected on LinkedIn, started going on early morning runs, had a double date to intro the wifeys and now both our kiddos are born! Just your average friendship born in the OBGYN 😂

Another beautiful wedding in the books! See the final video for Josh and Katlyn Pruitt! Such a beautiful wedding with Jesus at the center.

Here are a few take aways from editing this video:
1. The beginning is overwhelming! Culling through the 400-500gb of footage and pulling what is good from the bad is a slow daunting task that requires an unhealthy amount of coffee... :)
2. Just tart placing clips, adapt as you go, and don't be afraid to make changes along the way. IT'S A PROCESS.
3. Simple is better. I want to include EVERYTHING but that's not always best.
4. Sometimes the best strategy is to take a 4-5 day break to let your eyes and mind reset.
5. It's extremely rewarding when you start to see the story unfold.
6. MUSIC will make or break the film.
7. Audio recording give the film depth, authentic emotion.
8. JUST CONTINUE TO LEARN.
9. Review final exported version 67 times and make tiny edits.
9. Enjoy it.
