This session reminded me how much I love photographing 5-year-olds 💛

At one point I told him to say “fuzzy pickles” to get a smile… and his little sister immediately took over the session — following me around with her grandma’s phone and coaching him through his poses 😄

They were fully in it. Curious, playful, completely themselves.

There’s something really special about this age — their personalities are just starting to shine and they’re not self-conscious yet.

Sometimes the biggest impact begins in the most ordinary places.

Ann Pinner was simply doing her job managing a restaurant when she began looking for ways to help people facing hunger in the community. That small idea eventually grew into a community event that brought dozens of restaurants together and supported the local food bank for nearly two decades.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that meaningful work often grows out of everyday life.
