In support of Palestine, I will be closing all accounts other than Tik Tok first thing tomorrow morning.
I have spent the last 2 weeks learning about the tragic events happening overseas while the US elite hosted the Met Gala. A fire has lit inside me I have never felt- as well as the immense need to DO something! I know there is not much I can do but I have decided to pull all my support for Meta, Starbucks, Apple, and other companies directly supporting Iran in their genocide of the Palestinian People.
I will also be participating in the BlockParty2024 as we systematically pull support from celebrities and influences that are complicite in their silence to these war crimes. We gave them their platforms and we can take them away. We will not be distracted!
If you are interested in helping the people in Gaza, you can do many things including buying traditions textiles from Palestinian, donating to one of the many gofundmes linked in TikTok of families looking to escape into safety, or even begin sharing awareness. That's what I'll be doing.
