I have been in printing for over 30 years and have always admired great pictures. Photography was always something I wanted to do, but not something I was willing to invest in or take the time to learn. After a couple of meetings with some friends, a couple of John Maxwell books, and a friend that had a cheap camera, the timing seemed right. As soon as I started I fell in love with it. I always ha

ve been the shutterbug of whatever group I am with and I love capturing important times in my life with selfies. Everyone knows this about me, and I hope they realize that when the camera goes up, it is because I want to remember that moment. Things have taken off from there and I hope they don’t slow down any time soon. Nothing makes me happier than knowing a picture I took brought a smile to someone’s face, and knowing that picture will be around long after I am gone. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to working with you in the future!

When you have 2 equally stellar bands at the Twisted Tree Music Hall, you get 2 posts. Last week was one of those shows. I first saw Rob Leines at North Springs Music Festival last year and was blown away. So I was obviously beyond excited for this one. This dude is a photographers dream - plays along, gives great content and has amazing stage presence. Then add in incredible musician, amazing band and a super chill guy and you have this album!!

I have been looking forward to this one from the time it was announced. Stoney LaRue at Twisted Tree Music Hall. Freaking Incredible show and a packed venue, as it should be. Stoney likes it dark, so you're gonna see more black and white than usual lol. I can't say enough about this amazing night of music besides you should have been there.

It was an amazing night for music last night at the Twisted Tree Music Hall, so much so, i have to do a couple posts. The boys from The Longmeyer Band were in prime form and gave me lots of great shots - so they get their own post (also because i still feel bad about not taking pics at the fair)

The Final Jacksonville Main Street concert was moved to Twisted Tree Music Hall due to weather, but we still kept the party going. The Clay Clear Band was awesome, and I am hoping we can catch them around very soon. Huge thanks to Jacksonville Main Street, the countless volunteers, vendors and yummy food trucks for an amazing concert series! Already looking forward to next year! Thinking out loud on this one…

I’m kicking around the idea of doing dance powder minis in the woods at sunset. Think colorful powder, dramatic light, and a whole lot of fun.

Before I order a ridiculous amount of colored powder that will inevitably end up in every corner of my studio for the next six months, I wanted to see if there’s enough interest.

I’d probably run it the same way I do my regular dance minis. Everyone would have about an hour to an hour and a half to hang out, jump in for multiple turns, and change outfits if they want. That format has always worked really well and everyone ends up with plenty of images.

I’m thinking $100 per dancer, which covers the powder and the extra editing these images will need.

What do you think? Is this something you’d be interested in? Let me know!!

Note: image is total AI so photo stealers doesn’t come get me!! I am hoping to get close to this, but that robot is a pretty good photographer!!!
