Hi friends,

I’m taking the rest of the year off to focus on healing from some ongoing health issues. While I’ve been improving since this all began in late May (praise God!), I’m still dealing with daily symptoms that make it impossible for me to work at the moment.

I’ll really miss photographing your beautiful families this fall—it’s one of my favorite times of the year. You all mean the world to me, and I’m so incredibly grateful for each and every one of my clients. I truly hate to disappoint you by not being able to take your fall photos this year. I will miss seeing your smiling faces, giving you a big hug, and seeing how much your kiddos have grown!

I can’t even begin to express how much it has meant to me when you’ve reached out, whether by text or in any way. I’ve probably been a blubbering mess (sorry about that lol), but it’s meant the world.

There have been a lot of days during this time that I have not been able to get out of bed or leave my room due to extreme pain. All I could do was cry out to God to please use this for his good. I know he has and I know he will continue to. When I have the energy I hope to share my testimony about what I have learned. For now I just want to say that I know life can be so hard sometimes, but don't doubt that God is still good. I have seen many prayers be answered during this time and learning more and more to just put my faith in him and not the circumstances around me.

You may have already seen this in my Stories, but I wanted to share it here too:
I’m taking a temporary leave of absence from my business.

I’ve been in a migraine cycle for the past three weeks that’s affecting my vision and more—and right now, I’m simply not able to work.

All June sessions have been cancelled, and if you’re scheduled in July, I’ll be keeping you updated. I’m also not checking emails or messages at this time, so with any immediate needs, just text me.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and prayers as I focus on healing.

So thankful for the gift of motherhood—to be a mom myself, to have been raised by the best, and to have an awesome mother-in-law! And through this job, I get to meet so many incredible moms who inspire me all the time. Hope you all get some well deserved love and pampering today!
