Acid washed jeans, loud guitars, and lots of distortion. Dead Original reminded us that grunge rock lives on. Then they came back out at Smells Like Nirvana and took us straight back to the 90s grunge scene. Incredible guitar work and stage presence made these guys a treat to photograph.

Friday Night Lights, summer edition. âšŸđŸ”„

The bats were on fire Friday night as the Snakes of post316baseball exploded for a 17-2 victory over Post 250.

From the first pitch to the final out, Post 316 kept the pressure on with consistent hitting, aggressive baserunning, and a lineup that wouldn’t let up.

Now it’s on to the Championship.

Good luck to the Snakes as they chase the title tomorrow! 🐍🏆

I wanted a higher perspective without flying a drone, so using some PVC and duct tape I made 25 foot selfie stick for my GoPro.

It worked
 but if I’m being honest, I was already wishing it was 35 feet before I even brought it back down.

That’s kind of how learning goes, though. You try something, figure out what worked, what didn’t, and suddenly you’ve got ideas for version two.

Some of my favorite things I’ve learned with a camera haven’t come from paid jobs. They’ve come from random projects where curiosity won out over common sense.
