Yesterday was all about celebrating this sweet boy… so social media had to wait. 🤍

Happy 11th Birthday to my baby boy, Hugo. The youngest of my four, and somehow the one who still keeps my heart the softest. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

You are so incredibly loving, compassionate, expressive, thoughtful, and caring — the kind of person who feels things deeply and loves people well. I hope you always keep that tenderness in your heart, because it is truly something special.

This past year has been filled with so many beautiful memories, and putting together this little video reminded me just how fast time moves. I wish I could bottle up every laugh, every hug, every silly moment, and keep them forever.

I am endlessly proud of the young boy you are becoming, and so grateful that I get to be your mom. 🤍

Before becoming parents, we all had those things we swore we’d never do…

And then suddenly:
• you’re bribing toddlers for one good photo
• carrying snacks everywhere you go
• singing made-up songs in public
• and pretending not to notice when your child’s pants fall down mid-session 🤣

Because honestly? Parenthood is equal parts chaos, comedy, and unforgettable moments.

And somehow, the perfectly imperfect moments usually end up becoming the favorites 🤍

Preparing for your newborn session doesn’t have to feel stressful 🤍

The truth is — newborn sessions are designed to move at baby’s pace. Feeding breaks, soothing, cuddles, and extra time are all part of the experience.

A few simple things can help your session run smoothly:

• Keep baby awake before arrival
• Feed baby right before the session
• Dress baby in loose clothing
• Trust the process
• Relax — patience is always expected

You do not need a “perfect” baby for beautiful images.

The best sessions happen when parents know they can simply breathe, slow down, and enjoy the experience while I gently guide the rest ✨

Your only job is to show up and love on your baby. I’ll take care of everything else.
