Golden hour at TPC Sawgrass just hits different. 🔥

The light was warm and low, the air felt soft, and everything slowed down in the best way. This session felt intimate, confident, and a little bit sexy in that effortless way that happens when two people are completely at ease with each other. No overthinking. No performing. Just connection, movement, and letting the moment unfold.

This is why I love engagement sessions so much. They are not about perfect posing or stiff smiles. They are about how it feels to be wrapped up in your person while the sun dips low and the world gets quiet for a minute. TPC Sawgrass is such a beautiful Ponte Vedra Beach location for this kind of session because it feels timeless and elevated but still relaxed and romantic.

Twenty years later, I still can’t believe this is my life. What started as a leap of faith turned into the most meaningful, beautiful career I could have ever dreamed of. Every wedding, every family, every tiny moment I’ve been trusted to capture has shaped me into the person and photographer I am today.

I’m so grateful for every couple who chose me, every family who invited me into their world, and every person who connected with my work. Photography has given me purpose, connection, and a front row seat to the most emotional and unforgettable moments.

Thank you for an incredible twenty years. This truly has been the best decision of my life.

One of my favorite families, year after year. I swear these sessions get sweeter every time. Watching kids grow, seeing everyone’s personalities, and catching all those tiny in-between moments is honestly one of the best parts of being a photographer.

There’s something extra special about photographing a family over the years. The comfort. The trust. The way everyone settles in and just lets the real moments happen. These are the sessions that remind me why I love this work so much.

These little sessions are quick, relaxed, and such an easy way to capture your family exactly as you are right now.

For those of you new to my page — hi, and welcome. Let me introduce myself!

I’m Tonya — photographer, travel lover, and proud dog mom to Hana 🐾

This year I’ve wandered through Patagonia, Costa Rica, and Hawaii — with the Azores, Madeira, Fiji, and New Zealand still to come in 2025. When I say I love to explore this world, I mean it with my whole heart.

When I’m not behind the lens capturing love stories, I’m learning country swing, binge-watching the stock market (yes, really), soaking up time with friends who are more like family — or diving into a podcast on health, personal growth, or investing.

And while I might look polished in my “professional” headshots (don’t judge me — I update them like once every ten years 😅), real-life me is usually in a messy bun, no makeup, and living in Levi’s and Vans.
