HI FRIENDS!
We’re Shaina & Savannah, the faces behind Saving Grace Photography (weddings). 📸✨
Shaina is the owner and main photographer of Saving Grace Photography, and Savannah is my second shooter and wedding assistant. But our friendship goes WAY beyond photography.
🤍 We’ve been best friends since middle school.
📸 We both started photography in high school and learned so much from each other along the way.
👯♀️ We twin… A LOT.🤓
📷 Same cameras.
🔍 Same lenses.
👜 Same camera bags.
⚡ Same flash equipment.
👟 And we even have the SAME Croc sandals that we wear on our wedding days. 😜
And no, we’re not sisters. 😂 Although we’ve been asked if we are, which we consider a HUGE compliment!😚
We’re best friends outside of photography, too. We spend a LOT of time together, which is honestly one of the biggest reasons we work so well as a photography team.
So why should you pick us? 🤍
Because when you hire us, you’re not just getting two photographers who happen to work together. You’re getting best friends who genuinely love what they do.
Our communication is top tier. We joke that we’re basically mind readers because we usually know exactly what the other person is thinking or looking for without having to say a word.
And on the off chance our mind reading abilities fail us… we have earpieces so we can communicate from opposite sides of a venue. 😂
We truly love photography, but even more than that, we love people. We love meeting new couples, hearing their stories, getting to know what makes their relationship special, and capturing the moments that make their wedding day theirs.
📸 What do we each do?
Shaina - Owner + Main Photographer
Shaina is your main photographer and captures the majority of your gallery. She’ll be there for the bridal portraits, couple portraits, ceremony, reception, and all of the big moments in between.
She’ll also be focused on the bride throughout the day and making sure all those important moments are captured.
Savannah - Second Shooter + Wedding Assistant
Savannah brings an entirely different perspective to the day.
While Shaina is with the bride, Savannah can be with the groom and groomsmen, capturing their side of the story and all of those candid moments.
And while Shaina is photographing the couple…
Savannah is photographing the people watching them.
The parents crying.
The grandparents smiling.
The bridal party laughing.
The friends cheering.
The little moments happening in the background that you had no idea were even happening.
Those are the photographs that you’ll look back on years later and say “I didn’t even know someone captured that.” And that’s why we love working together.🥹
We’re not just showing up with two cameras. We’re bringing two different perspectives, constant communication, a whole lot of laughter, and a genuine love for the people we’re photographing. 🤍
