The Schell Family!

I just wanted to hop on here and give everyone a little life/business update because I know I’ve been pretty MIA lately. 🤍

These last almost 2 months have been a HUGE roller coaster health-wise for my kids and our family. All 5 of my babies have been battling a staph infection that just keeps making its way back and forth through our house. We’ve had hospital visits, doctor appointments, medications, sleepless nights, and just when I think we’re finally getting ahead of it… someone else gets it. 😭 Right now, 3 out of my 5 kiddos are battling it again, and unfortunately I’ve been dealing with it right along with them.

At the same time, I’m still working at the clinic, being Mom to my 5 babies, answering emails and messages, keeping track of upcoming sessions, shooting, and spending every extra second I can editing all of your beautiful albums. 🤍

I know if you look at my Facebook, it might look like we’ve been having the BEST summer going to the fair, doing fun things, making memories, etc. And we absolutely have had some really good days! But social media only shows you a tiny piece of someone’s life. I might get 1–2 days during the week where I can actually slow down and do something fun or relaxing with my kids, and I try really hard to take advantage of those moments because they deserve that time with their mama too. 🥺

I also know that in the past my turnaround time for galleries was VERY fast, and I know some of you are used to that from me. I’m working SO hard to get back to that. I promise I have not forgotten about your album. I promise I’m not ignoring your email or message on purpose. And I promise that behind the scenes, I am working my butt off trying to keep everything moving while also taking care of my babies.

To all of my clients who have been patient, understanding, checked in on us, or simply given me a little extra grace, THANK YOU. Seriously. It means more to me than you know. ❤️

I am so incredibly sorry for being MIA and for things taking me a little longer than normal right now. I’m doing my absolute best to catch up on galleries, emails, messages, and inquiries while we hopefully FINALLY kick this infection out of our house for good. 🙏🏻

Thank you for continuing to support me, my little business, and my family through all the crazy seasons of life. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know. 🤍

There are moments throughout a wedding day that have nothing to do with the timeline and everything to do with the experience.

When her favorite song came on, I couldn’t let her stand there and dance alone. So I grabbed her hand, turned up the smiles, and we danced together.

Because being your photographer isn’t just about taking beautiful photos. It’s about making sure you feel beautiful, celebrated, and completely present on one of the biggest days of your life.

I’m there to capture every laugh, every tear, every little in-between moment, but I’m also there to fluff your dress, calm your nerves, fix your veil, cheer you on, and yes, even be your dance partner when your favorite song comes on.

For one day, I’m not just your photographer…
I’m your biggest hype girl, your helping hand, and your best friend for the night. ❤️📸

And those are the moments that make this job so incredibly special.

The Meyer Family

Some sessions are just extra special, and this was definitely one of them. 🤍

Two years ago, I had the honor of capturing the Meyer family, and getting to see them again as their family has grown has been such a privilege. This time, I got to document this beautiful season of life in their gorgeous newly built home, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

From the endless laughter to the sweet little moments in between, this session was filled with so much love and joy. These are the moments that remind me why I absolutely love what I do.
