Movement tends to create the images people remember longest.
Not perfectly posed. Not overly directed. Just two people moving through a landscape together while the mountains do what they’ve done forever.
This stretch of road toward String Lake has quietly become one of our favorite places in Grand Teton for exactly that reason. The curves, the light, the scale of the Tetons, the way a dress catches wind or someone turns back for half a second — it all changes every frame.
Some of our favorite images happen in the in-between moments.
