Kamryn & Weston are absolutely adorable & braved the heat to do a short session at the Marble Hill Flower Patch a few weeks ago. It was blistering hot, but these photos turned out amazing!

Each participant will receive a free web-sized Digital Sharing Gallery download. You will need to have a PIN in order to do so. Contact Lauren or myself to get the PIN. ONLY the participants/parents will receive this PIN for the safety of all of the participants. If you would like full-resolution digital copies without my watermark, they are available for purchase on the website for $9.99 per photo. This gives you the right to share & print at a photo lab of your choice for your personal use.

I have had several inquiries about ordering prints. I created a few special packages for this event on my website or you can order individual prints. If you want just a few individual photos, send me an email or text letting me know what photos & sizes you want to order & I will make a group order on August 15 to save on shipping costs. Full payment is due at the time of order with no refunds. I accept cash or Venmo for these orders. My Venmo is -Barber-106.

Prices are as follows:
4x6-------$4 each
5x7-------$6.50 each
8x10------$9.50 each
11x14-----$20.50 each

I also offer an 11x9 Classic Hardcover 20-page photo album for $150 which I create myself from a list of your favorites you create on the website. You can upgrade to Lay-Flat pages for an additional $50. If you would like a smaller, soft-cover keepsake album, it is $50. All photo albums require 50% down at the time of the order with the balance due at the time of pickup. NO REFUNDS on any down-payment because designing will begin immediately.

There are not enough words to express how magical & humbling it was to be a small part of the 2026 Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship Amazing Race. To watch people of all ages with their broad range of special needs just come alive when they landed in the saddle of the horse was nothing short of a miracle. It was absolutely amazing to watch them transform.

This is just a SNEAK PEAK of the 2026 Show. Many more photos were taken & will be up on my website soon. Hope you enjoy watching them navigate the Soggy, Boggy Swamp, the Frozen Tundra, the Forest & the Desert.

(I apologize for taking so long to get these photos out, but a 5-week migraine is no joke!)

If you've ever ridden a horse, you know that mounting the horse is not always an easy task. Now think about those with special needs. How do they mount a horse?

Check out these photos from the Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship (MVTH) 2026 Amazing Race Horse Show. They show all the various ways MVTH has to get students on horses. They practice safety for the riders, the horses, & the staff while being able to provide an environment of inclusion into horse therapy.

To say I was impressed is an understatement. The equipment they need to provide this type of therapy is not cheap. If you want to support an organization that really gives an opportunity to teach those with special needs to strengthen their core, to have a healthy respect for animals, & to watch all of their cares just melt away, look into MVTH & support the work that they do for the community.

I will have a lot more to say about this organization once I get the photos of the stars of the show edited. For now, here are some of the staff & volunteers. Let me just say, they will do anything for a laugh, to get the horse's ears to perk up, or to get the student's attention. They were a hoot!
