If you've ever ridden a horse, you know that mounting the horse is not always an easy task. Now think about those with special needs. How do they mount a horse?

Check out these photos from the Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship (MVTH) 2026 Amazing Race Horse Show. They show all the various ways MVTH has to get students on horses. They practice safety for the riders, the horses, & the staff while being able to provide an environment of inclusion into horse therapy.

To say I was impressed is an understatement. The equipment they need to provide this type of therapy is not cheap. If you want to support an organization that really gives an opportunity to teach those with special needs to strengthen their core, to have a healthy respect for animals, & to watch all of their cares just melt away, look into MVTH & support the work that they do for the community.

I will have a lot more to say about this organization once I get the photos of the stars of the show edited. For now, here are some of the staff & volunteers. Let me just say, they will do anything for a laugh, to get the horse's ears to perk up, or to get the student's attention. They were a hoot!

Here are the photos from Jackson's last game of the season where Lindbergh came out victorious in this district game 5-1. Lindbergh's starting pitcher was a beast, only allowing 3 hits. Jackson's sole run came off of a home run by Grant Brown (which I caught! Yay!) Congrats to the Indians who ended their season 25-9.

Last night's District baseball game vs Fox. The Indians hang on by a thread winning 5-4.

Saturday's District Girl's Soccer vs Lindbergh

Both of these teams fought hard for this game. I walked 2.5 miles up & down the sideline following them! Neither team allowed a goal in the 1st half. But it didn't take Klund long after the break to find an opening to score the 1st goal. Jackson won 2-0 on another goal by A. Abernathy. Congratulations to both Jackson & Lindbergh for a great game.

For those wanting to order digital photos (which will not have the watermark/logo), I've added instructions with pictures below:

1. Go to the gallery from which you wish to purchase photos.
2. Click the icon to the left of the shopping cart. (I think it looks like a hamburger or a house, lol.)
3. You will see "print store." Scroll down until you see the digital options.
4. Click on single photo download or all photos download.
5. Click on the "buy downloads."
6. Choose your photos & checkout.

The magic of prom night is something you'll look back on forever! From tiny kids to prom night, time truly flies.

It was such a joy capturing these moments. The kids looked absolutely stunning, the gym was beautifully decorated, & the Royal Court entrances were priceless (including an unexpected flip!)
