With the holidays approaching, let us be mindful of our words. Opinions carry power—use yours to uplift, not harm. One day, the person you hurt may simply stop speaking to you. When you don’t know the full story, silence is often wiser. Words cannot be undone. This wisdom applies beyond the holidays: whenever someone stops talking to you, pause and reflect on what you last said. Consider too what you share about others with neighbors or acquaintances; they will find out sooner or later. And never forget to express gratitude for the kindness people show you.

This Christmas, may your home be filled with the warmth of family and the joy of togetherness. May you also find ways to extend kindness and help to those in need, sharing the true spirit of the season.
