The sound of everyone laughing, conversations happening in every corner, and those little moments unfolding when no one realizes they’re being photographed. Ashley and Jon’s wedding was full of the kind of moments I’m always looking for, the ones that make a day feel real and full of life.

The fall colors showed off, the weather was practically perfect, and I have a feeling we owe at least some of that to the Etsy witch Ashley hired to make sure it didn’t rain 😂🧙🏼‍♀️Honestly, if that’s not money well spent, I don’t know what is.

Ashley and Jon, I’m so glad I got to be there to capture this chapter for you. I hope when you look back at these photos, you’re reminded of all the people who showed up for you, the way the day felt, and just how much love surrounded you 🤍

Somewhere between what is and what’s becoming🌻

This wasn’t just an engagement session. It felt more like a little glimpse into the life they’re already building together.

The tractor. The fields. The half-finished house. The dogs running wherever they pleased. Bare feet in the grass. Quiet moments inside the space that will eventually become home.

There was no need to manufacture anything here. They just walked, laughed, held hands, leaned into each other, and let the day unfold.

That’s what I love about photographing people in places that mean something to them — years from now, these won’t just be pretty pictures.

They’ll remember the sunflower field.
The old tractor.
The house before it was finished.
The dogs who wouldn’t stay in one place.
And this little chapter of their life, right before everything changed.

Documenting the in-between. The ordinary. The beginning of something.

A wedding day takes a village. 🤍

To the parents calming nerves, the bridesmaids fluffing dresses, the groomsmen keeping everyone laughing, the friends holding bouquets, and the family making sure everything runs smoothly…

You may not be the ones saying “I do,” but you’re a huge part of what makes the day so special. The little things you do often go unnoticed in the moment, but they mean more than you know.

But trust me—we photographers notice. Those quiet moments of helping, encouraging, and celebrating are some of my favorite memories to capture. They’re the moments that tell the full story of the day and become the photos couples treasure just as much as the moments they planned for. 📸✨

I’ve been a little quiet over here… but for the best reason 🤍

Taking time to soak in this season of life, slow down, and be present has been everything. But I’ve missed this creative space so much — capturing love, connection, and all the in-between moments that deserve to be remembered forever.
