Original versus the edited version. After shooting (in this case, my subject was my son at a local hotdog place) I go back through each photo and either keep or delete it. If even the slightest detail catches my eye, I keep it. I delete photos that are blurry, repetitive, et cetera. So much editing work takes place- especially with lighting. Some shots are incredibly easy; most take time perfecting. And you can even take a photo and transform it into something completely different, as seen here.📸

Now that we’re back to school and settling into our new routines (no matter what that might look like for you) I am booking school photo sessions complete with traditional prints. There are two packages to choose from as well as à la carte options. All sessions will be outdoors and will take approximately 15-20 minutes. In early June, Jen lost her husband, Adam, and their three kids lost a father in a tragic motorcycle accident when he was hit by a drunk driver. You can drop off a meal, have one delivered, or send a gift card for GrubHub, local grocery stores, et cetera. If you are interested in helping, the link to sign up is posted below.
