soft coastal tones, thoughtful details, and so many beautiful in-between moments. from the quiet anticipation of getting ready to celebrating under the stars, every part of this day felt effortlessly them.

and woven through it all was something even more beautiful - a love rooted in Christ. there’s something so special about witnessing two people begin their marriage with the Lord at the center, knowing He is present in both the quiet moments and the celebrations.

J&C, what an honor it was to document a day so full of love, joy, and His goodness🤍

The change of heart I’ve had around family pictures in the last 4 years has been huge. I stopped offering family photos for years because mostly it wasn’t joyful, it wasn’t authentic, burned my creativity.

Then I had a child.

I started seeing family photos from a mother’s perspective. And I wanted to jump back in to family photos in a completely different way. Letting the children lead a majority of the time. Letting go of the ‘perfection’ and focusing on *this* season with each family.

These are some from the Milanian Family session earlier this Spring🫶🏼 So thankful they have trusted me 3x this year to capture their family in 3 different seasons!

Originally, I got the idea from Milena Ciciotti to put up verses all around my house and strategically hang them in places you needed the reminder of truth. It’s really been helping me the last few months to keep the Word on my heart and throughout my home.

I was adding more a few weeks ago while the kids were napping and thought, “Man I wish I had some of my girlfriends here with me to do this with.”

Holy Spirit whispered, “So make a night of it.”✨

My soul needed a night like this. It was resting, restorative and I pray a blessing to these women🫶🏼

Genuinely so much to love about Chad and Chelsey.
She’s one of the funniest people I’ve met. A personal fav from my time with her: *after standing from a seated position she says* “Ahhh I just love being on all twos.” She’s beautiful. She’s intentional and anticipates people’s needs and meets them with joy.
Chad keeps a cold cooler in the back of his truck filled with drinks of all kinds for people. He even constructed the Seating Chart. That’s EFFORT👏🏻 People feel calm in his presence.
It was an honor to capture this wedding. It was not only perfectly planned - it left room intentionally so they could spend time with their guests. It had small details scattered throughout like custom matchboxes, custom lighters, ci**rs, initialed fans during ceremony.
AND there were so many past JM Couples attending + 2026 JM Couples. It’s a privilege to look around and see all the stories I get to be part of.
