Happy Autumn folks! 🍁🍂

Autumn foliage is nearly at its peak in the northern part of the Garden State! Love to see the vibrant colors of the season!

Explore, Wander, & Discover this autumn season whether that be pumpkin or apple picking, visiting a corn maze or a haunted house, having a seasonal treat like a pumpkin spice latte 🧡☕️, apple c***r donuts 🍏🍎, pies 🥧 , watching your favorite autumnal-themed/Halloween movie, the list goes on!

One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to take in the autumn foliage with a visit to a local park or a historic gem!

Made an autumnal visit to the lovely and historic in Tarrytown, NY! Took a guided tour of the mansion and learned all about the history and local lore.

Since it’s October, we’re in the midst of spooky season and the mansion is immaculately decorated with festive autumn and Halloween-themed decor! 🍂🎃👻

You can reserve tickets for tours, explore the grounds at your own pace with a grounds pass, or check their calendar for upcoming events.

A wonderful place that I enjoy visiting when I find myself in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley region!

While in Cape May, I made a visit to Beach Plum Farm! 💚

Located in West Cape May, you’ll find a gourmet artisan food market in a rustic chic atmosphere. The market offers a wide selection of local specialties, home decor, and more!

Outside, you’ll find beautifully manicured lawns and gardens, all in a quaint and serene setting.

The farm also hosts private events as well.

A relaxing day on the lake! I recently cruised on Lake Hopatcong which is New Jersey’s largest freshwater lake.
☀️⛵️🌳

The name Hopatcong, according to Native American history and language is known as “stone over water”, “pipestone”, as well as “honey waters of many coves”. The word takes on several different phrases and meanings but truly captures the essence of this picturesque destination. ⚓️🛟

Visiting the lake on a summer afternoon brings all the summer vibes of refreshing lakeside air, cool breezes, and beautiful views of the surroundings hills and mountains.

Be sure to stop by the Main Lake Market for takeout, coffee, ice cream, and a wonderful selection of local goodies! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and super helpful too. A quaint pit stop while on the lake!

A destination enjoyed by locals and visitors alike!

4 Books That Make Delightful Summer Beach Reads! 🧳📚📖

It’s nearly summer and that means longer, warmer, and sunnier days that pair wonderfully with your next favorite summer read!
