A relaxing day on the lake! I recently cruised on Lake Hopatcong which is New Jersey’s largest freshwater lake.
☀️⛵️🌳

The name Hopatcong, according to Native American history and language is known as “stone over water”, “pipestone”, as well as “honey waters of many coves”. The word takes on several different phrases and meanings but truly captures the essence of this picturesque destination. ⚓️🛟

Visiting the lake on a summer afternoon brings all the summer vibes of refreshing lakeside air, cool breezes, and beautiful views of the surroundings hills and mountains.

Be sure to stop by the Main Lake Market for takeout, coffee, ice cream, and a wonderful selection of local goodies! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and super helpful too. A quaint pit stop while on the lake!

4 Books That Make Delightful Summer Beach Reads! 🧳📚📖

It’s nearly summer and that means longer, warmer, and sunnier days that pair wonderfully with your next favorite summer read! These 4 books in particular are some of my favorite reads this year so far! Each title has been released within the past year as well as one that just came out earlier this year.
