and I have been thinking of doing an EthioJazz/Grooves night since we did SOUND & SERVICE together in the summer. So, after discussing the idea over a few meals and buna we came up with:
- live musicians playing Ethiopian classics
- a simple menu offering for folks just learning about Ethiopian cuisine
-DJs in between our musicians to keep the night flowing
- an environment you can bring your elders to
- informing guests curious about the history and background of the music
- lastly making it accessible with a FREE RSVP and $10 cover at the door
