You probably drove through Long Beach in Need for Speed… and never realized it. 👀

If you’ve ever played Need for Speed (2015), some of these streets might feel strangely familiar.

That’s because Ventura Bay wasn’t built completely from scratch. The developers took heavy inspiration from Long Beach, California, blending real roads, industrial districts, bridges, and the city’s nighttime atmosphere into one of the most iconic maps in the franchise.

Driving these roads in real life feels like stepping into the game.
