We had a Bible study, and then went out to shoot on a beautiful summer evening. So encouraging to see these girls loving Jesus and growing their faith!Beautiful inside and out❤️
We talked about strongholds & calling
The Lord is good,
a stronghold in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him.
Naum 1:7
What strongholds are you running to? We can build strongholds in our minds that are not of God. He is our stronghold, our safe place. It’s only in that place- the secret place where we will be filled to overflowing and the truth will set us free. God wants to tear down strongholds that we might be running to that cause us all sorts of unbelief, doubt, fear, jealousy, anxiety ect. It’s only in Him we can find our confidence. When we meet Him in that place, He fills us to overflowing. Then we can impact those around us, and love them the way He wants us to.
We also talked about gifts and calling. God gives us all gifts, and has a calling on each life. God wants to use this younger generation to bring His will- on earth as it is in heaven. I know the Lord is showing my daughter what she is called to, what He’s placed inside of her and wants to grow her in and use her for His kingdom.
I pray each of these girls run to Jesus, trust in Him and what He’s placed inside, and allows Him to use them in their unique gifts and callings He has placed on their lives. When we seek fist His kingdom, His will is demonstrated in every situation, even broken ones. When we align with His thinking and renew our minds, we see the answer and the promises of God, not just the problem. Jesus moved in response to the Father, and by the work of the Holy Spirit we have the power to do that as well! He is our stronghold, our refuge and He KNOWS those who trust in Him!
