11AM UPDATE From Sheriff Miller, "This was investigated and a report completed. My understanding is the DA did not feel that the specific statute applied in that situation when consulted by our deputy. However, the completed report was still forwarded from our office to them for further review.

(Pembine, Wisconsin) Just over a week ago, patrons at Patty's Hangout in Pembine apparently discovered a camera in the women's bathroom pointing down at the toilet.

After reading all the comments, I couldn't find any confirmation this was reported to police so I contacted the Marinette County (WI) Sheriff Dept and asked, "was there an investigation done in Pembine at Patti's Hangout concerning a camera found in a bathroom?"

This morning I got a response back saying, "Yes, this was reported and investigated."

Shortly after 2pm Tuesday a garage fire was reported at 116 Withworth Ave in Kingsford, MI. When Kingsford Public Safety arrived they found the house was involved and also a neighboring home was starting on fire too.

The home was a total loss. The family did make it out without injuries, one fireman had minor smoke inhalation and was transported to the hospital.

Kingsford Public Safety is currently fighting a house fire on Withworth Ave near East Kingsford. One fireman had minor smoke inhalation. Many roads are closed, so please give them space for emergency vehicles. Ambulances are staged at Sagola Ave and Woodbine.

I was asked to post the full video. Driving home from filming Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad ELS 1221 heading to Crivitz I stumbled upon this huge fire in Pembine, WI after seeing the smoke from miles away. I got permission from the Woodsong Gallery to walk back onto their property to see what was burning. It appeared to be many acres along with a few small structures like maybe sheds and this car hauler or trailer, which wasn't fully on fire when I got there.

I put my camera down for a few minutes to help contain the fire and keep it from spreading, nothing major but I felt it was needed at that moment. As we stood watching a WI FIRE DNR bulldozer began pushing towards us and went right through a barbed wire fence to create a fire break around the fire. After they pushed over trees and created a large fire break we left them to do their job.

As of 6pm August 13, 2026 I heard the fire is contained and no homes are threatened.

At 7am on August 14 I was told smoke was still rising from the fire location.
