Itā€™s Memorial DayšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

A time to remember and honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in the land of the free!

Itā€™s a heavy reminder, as it should be.

I feel weird saying ā€œHappyā€ if Iā€™m being totally honest because itā€™s reminder that this freedom came at a cost.

A life. So many of them.

A husband.
A wife.
A daughter.
A son.
A mom.
A dad.
A sister.
A brother.
An aunt.
An uncle.
A friend.

So, I pray that when you fire up that grill and get the kiddos ready for the water, you also take a moment to remember what this day is really for.

I pray you remember that it isnā€™t just a holiday that you get off work for, but a day to honor those that laid down their lives for us.

I pray that you sit with it for a little while today and remember them.

šŸŽ“Congratulations to all the seniors graduating this week, and a special congratulations to these that I had the absolute blessing of capturing their grad photos for the 2025-2026 school year!

They were all such fun to spend time with, and I just know they will all have very bright futures!

When I say I donā€™t take it lightly that you have blessed me with the honor of capturing photos for you, I mean it!

These are special moments to look back on and remember that time.

Theyā€™re special, and theyā€™re not always cheapā€¦ I did some math!ā¬‡ļø

My cheapest session (aside from minis) is $227.33. Letā€™s say someone makes $20/hr. Thatā€™s over 11 hours that they had to work to be able to pay for these photos!

Thatā€™s humbling.

Knowing you invested your time and earnings in my work. Not just the photos but the experience!

Thatā€™s why I believe itā€™s so important investing in a photographer that truly cares!ā¤ļø
