Iowa City Camera Club We are a group of individuals who love photography and sharing our joy of photography with others. Dues are $30. single, $35. for couples and $15.

Our primary objective is to offer information in the art and science of photography, to stimulate creativity and experimentation, and to render services to others aimed at increasing their ability to practice photography. We meet twice a month on the first and third Mondays at 7 pm from September through May at the Robert A. Our next in-person get together is Saturday July 11, 1:00 - 3:30 pm at the Coralville Public Library in meeting room A.
Like our event in January we will set up still life stations, though this time we'll have the larger room. I hope several more members will join the fun and provide a "scene" (or two, or three...) Simple objects can create great photos - fruits & vegetables, flowers, jewelry, tools, books etc etc.
We'll have tables but please provide everything you need to create the scene - objects, backdrop, lighting, props.
Email Gail with any questions, and let me know if you're able to help out.

This informative session, led by Photography Salon co-superintendent Christina Young, will cover entry rules and requirements, including print sizes, mounting, and the number of photos you can enter. Our next meeting will Monday April 6th at 7:00pm
The Zoom meeting will open up at around 6:45

John and Bob will do a short presentation on how to enter a photo in the monthly N4C contests, including how to resize your photo(s) to the required size

Please share any recent photos with the group.

We'd also love to have recommendations for April and May outings.

We need to recruit new members for the planning committee. Several of us have been involved for 5+ years now and would like to pass the responsibility to other members.

I have sent the link for the Des Moines Club's guest speaker on Tuesday April 7, 7:00 pm. Angie is a Chicago-based architecture photographer with some amazing black & white images.

For those celebrating this weekend, best wishes for a Happy Easter and/or Passover
