Our next meeting will Monday April 6th at 7:00pm
The Zoom meeting will open up at around 6:45

John and Bob will do a short presentation on how to enter a photo in the monthly N4C contests, including how to resize your photo(s) to the required size

We'd also love to have recommendations for April and May outings.

We need to recruit new members for the planning committee. Several of us have been involved for 5+ years now and would like to pass the responsibility to other members.

We're having an in-person still-life workshop at the Coralville library this Saturday the 17th. It's in room B from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Room B is in the basement. Since Saturday is supposed to be a cold and windy day, there's parking in the underground parking lot, the door into the library's basement is on the west wall.

We'll have 6-8 setups to try different items to photograph and to get some ideas to do this at home.

Bring your camera, tripod and macro lens if you have one.

Possible setups including:
Flowers & Frozen items
Watch parts & Seashells
Maybe some old books, eyeglasses, television tubes,
rusty old tools and other misc. old stuff

Update: Filled!

We're searching for a volunteer to be a photographer for our upcoming Iowa River Clean Up on Saturday, Oct 11. The photographer would help out in the afternoon, from approximately 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Hills Campground in Hills, Iowa.

Taking photos of the trash-laden canoes is great for building awareness of pollution, and helping us to draw in more volunteers for future events.

If you are able to help out, please email [email protected].
