I’ve seen a few other photographers do this, and it looked way too fun not to try! 😂

Here’s how it works:

🖤 The type of session you want (NO Weddings)
🖤 The price you’d like to pay

I’ll respond with one of two things…

DEAL! or NO DEAL! 🙅‍♀️

If I say DEAL, you’ll have 24 hours to pay your non-refundable retainer to lock in your session.

A few rules:
• Valid for 2026 sessions only
• One deal per person

Model session #2 was with my great nephew, and he kept me laughing the entire time! I had planned to use my new rattan chair, but he wasn’t interested. 😂 Luckily, my wooden crate setup was a huge hit!

This is exactly why I love photographing kids. When they’re free to be themselves, their personalities shine, and that’s when the best photos happen!

Not everyone is your ideal client, and that’s okay.

This weekend I had someone message me about booking a birthday session. We had no mutual friends or groups, which isn’t a dealbreaker. But when I asked a few basic questions—like where they wanted the session and for an email address so I could send my contract—they avoided answering them.

Then they asked where I was located. My first thought was, “Shouldn’t that be one of the first things you check before reaching out to a photographer?” Between that and the other unanswered questions, there were just too many red flags for me.

I decided not to move forward with booking the session, and I’m perfectly okay with that.

As a business owner, it’s important to trust your instincts. Not every inquiry needs to become a booking. Protecting your time, your business, and your peace of mind is just as important as filling your calendar. The right clients will communicate, respect your process, and be a great fit—and those are the people I want to work with.

I love doing photo sessions that aren’t your typical, posed sessions! One of my favorite messages to get is, “Do you think we could recreate this?” or “Can we do something similar?” My answer is almost always YES!

The only requirement? We have to make a TikTok… and the bloopers are usually the best part! 😂

This session was so much fun, and I absolutely love how it turned out! They had such a great time that she already asked if we could do another one. Heck yes!

Because of how much fun this was, I’m officially adding this as a new couples session! If you and your spouse or partner want to laugh, be yourselves, make some memories, and leave with amazing photos (and maybe a few hilarious bloopers), send me a message! Let’s get you on the books!
