What do I do when the Minnesota Monsters don’t have a home game? I like to go back and look at some old photos from the last home game. Sometimes I find some that I don’t remember seeing when going through them the first time.

A few more older pictures just because. One thing I didn’t expect well using capture one was for editing is it to be faster at processing the images. When I’m editing in Lightroom my computer sounds like a jet is about to takeoff. In capture one it runs cold all well exporting the image quicker.

I have been using Lightroom for editing ever sense I started but I tried Capture one for these photos and I must say I’m a fan. I’m not sure what adobe is doing to Nikons files but not only do they have more grain in the same exact file but they are sharper in capture one as well as just having more colors! I heard back when the Z9 was first released that Adobe wasn’t handling the raw file correctly but I didn’t think it was going to be that much of a difference. Kind of crazy we are coming up on 5 years that the Z9 has been around and Adobe still hasn’t fixed it. I might be switching to capture one for some of my editing!

Before the new school year begins, there will be some changes regarding sports photos. I will be introducing new pricing for action photos and media day photos, as well as updating the ordering process for team and individual photos.

I’m working hard to reduce the turnaround time for orders, but it’s challenging due to the magnets. The company I initially partnered with had issues with the magnets curling and falling off refrigerators. Although they fixed the problem, the magnets remain extremely thin and struggle to stay on the fridge.

In an earlier poll, everyone preferred the thicker magnets, even though they take a bit longer to arrive. Therefore, if you’d like your orders quickly, please place them online through my website. If you’re okay with a longer wait, you can also order them through me using the order forms.

I also want to apologize for the delayed responses to texts and emails in the past few months. I’ve been overwhelmed with junk messages and emails and haven’t been able to keep up with them. I’ve been actively working on responding to them and checking them more frequently. If you haven’t received a reply, please resend your message, and I’ll make sure to see it.

I’ve had some people ask about summer ball photos. I’d like to get an idea of how many people are interested. Let me know in the comments and I will figure out a day or a couple of days for photos. Price will be $80 for a 10 minute time slot or $120 for a 20 minute time slot and you can do as many poses or group shots as you want during that time and you will get all the edited photos from during that time. If you have an entire team or group that wants to do photos reach out to me and we can get a price for that or a separate day for that. I am willing to travel as well it doesn’t just have to be I Falls but there will be a travel fee added depending on your location.
