This is 53 seconds of beauty from last year’s aurora display. You really have to watch the whole thing to see how it dances around and ebbs and flows. Not to mention how vibrant it gets at the end of the video. This timelape is comprised of 800 completely unedited pictures over a consecutive span of about 2 hours. This was taken in Inola, Oklahoma from around 7:30-9:30pm. I used a Canon EOS R5 with an EF 24-70 F2.8L ll USM at 24mm. My settings were F2.8, 8 seconds, 3200 iso, focus was manually set to infinity and white balance manually set to 4000K. I used a shutter release cord to take all the images and then constructed the timelapse with photoshop.
