They are expecting a lot of rain and maybe some wind on Sunday at the Waynesboro VA Fall festival, and while they did not cancel tomorrow they did give us the option to break down today and not be penalized next year. Along with some other artists I decided to take advantage of this option. It will also let me go to the memorial service for my sister-in-law Freda. I was trying to figure out how to do both and it looks like it has worked out to that point.

One of the fun things I enjoy about doing shows is when someone comes up to my tent and points at one of my photos and says I bought that one from you 2 years ago! Then he sent a photo of it hanging on his wall.

Heading to Waynesboro Virginia this weekend for their Fall Folage Art show. Weather is showing 98% rain on Sunday! Six or more of my shows this year have been impacted by rain including two or three pouring during breakdown, leaving me soaked!

Hendersonville Art on Main was about as good as it gets weatherwise for doing outdoor shows: great temps, sunny, with a little breeze! After having six shows with rain this year, including last week in Weaverville ( had to break down in the rain!), this gorgeous weekend was a breath of fresh air! The staff was helpful; I loved all the interaction with people also. It was a good weekend for me!
