Lately I’ve been praying about how to get more involved at church, and God answered in a way I didn’t expect by giving me the opportunity to serve through photography.

Getting to use something I love for something bigger than myself has been so special, and such a reminder that sometimes what we’re asking for is already in our hands.

When you follow where you’re led, things just start to align

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve actually shown my face on here (like… truly who even am I? 😂), so I wanted to reintroduce myself
especially for anyone new around here!

I’m kylie (or ky for short)
a mom of two and the photographer behind Lily Faith Photography. I’m based in Upstate SC, but my heart is set on chasing golden light anywhere it leads!

I am an empath to my core!
I feel allllll of the feels and I care A LOT (sometimes too much 🙃). I’m very sentimental, I cry easily (happy tears, sad tears, mad tears, sympathy tears, allergy tears… 🥲)
I’ve been through more than most people would ever guess just from looking at me… but the resilience my mom instilled in me has always been stronger than what tried to break me 🤍

Photography is more than just “taking pictures” to me. I care about people feeling seen! I care about emotion. The quiet moments. The real laughs. The way your child clings to your leg. The way you look at your partner when you’re not even trying…
I’m not here for perfect,
I’m here for meaningful.

I’m extremely intentional with my work. Every image gets touched. Every gallery gets time. There’s no one-click magic over here! I obsess over warmth, true-to-color skin tones, and that soft “I want to live inside this photo forever” feeling

Outside of photography, I’m navigating motherhood, healing, and rebuilding parts of myself I didn’t even know I lost! I’ve recently found my way back to faith, and I’ve learned that peace is something I’m allowed to protect.
