𝙈𝒊𝙡𝒌𝙮 𝙒𝒂𝙮 𝙐𝒎𝙗𝒓𝙚𝒍𝙡𝒂

Milky Way season has just begun. In late winter, the Milky Way rises low along the horizon, forming an arch in the wee hours of morning. Years ago, Nubble Light was one of my first inspirations for taking night photos, with my last nighttime visit in 2017. Until now because I was back there yesterday with a good friend for another night photo. I keep saying that this will be my last time at Nubble Light, but so far my words have been broken promises.

This photo is a panorama comprised of five frames stitched together in post-processing. The Milky Way arch reminds me of an umbrella hanging over the scene. Light from the bright red lantern reflects upon the water and rocks to add foreground interest. It would have been even nicer if there had been snow on The Nubble, but it was still a pretty scene.
