Bobcat? Mcdonough county IL

Had a chance to share a hunt with Briar as his dad was sitting with his sister this morning. Briar is someone I think alot of. He loves being out at the farm riding, fishing, working on plots and blinds, and yes loves to hunt. He picked the plot and I didn't know it but has been watching a big doe that has been showing up there on camera every morning. We got to the blind he told me we were good cause the wind was blowing from the plot to the blind to the neighbors. No way they were gonna smell us. While in the blind he talked about some of the hunters coming in this year and how he was looking forward to the different groups. He spotted her about 8am as i was on my phone and hit her dead center at about 100 yards. As soon as he shot he said that's her man is she huge thats the one i wanted. As we looked out in the field where she had been He found the blood trail going into the timber and found her laying about 20 yards in. I haven't been on a special hunt for a few years but this was definitely a reminder that it's still in me. Hope everyone has an awesome year!
