I can’t stop replaying everything in my head. I keep wondering if there was something I could’ve done differently or something I could’ve done to prevent it. Mom guilt is so real. Mom strength is so real in those situations too. You should have see me throw that damn cabinet across the garage when I got it off of him…I’m not thankful THIS HAPPENED but this could have been SO MUCH WORSE than what it was..

Seeing him peacefully sleeping and snuggled up today is exactly what my heart needed.
While Yesterday was scary, but today brought some relief. My little guy got the rest he needed and slept so good after needing those stitches yesterday. Watching my babies snuggle up together and seeing him finally able to rest gives me some relief.

After a long tiring night we are home and resting for today…

He does have a small cut on his actual eye as well so we have to do drops in eyes and ointment on the stitches.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered their help and for saying prayers during this very scary moment.
Also want to thank our neighbors who were walking when it happened and ran up to help as well.

I will respond to everyone’s messages when I can.

I need all the prayer warriors right now..
Ben (my son) pulled down a cabinet on him in the garage.
We called 911 instantly and was transported to Community by ambulance.
He has a very deep gash on his eyelid starting in the middle going all the way to the corner of his eye.

We are now Being transferred to Riley where they will have to sedate him to get this all stitched up.
We tried doing mild sedation at Community and there was no way that was gonna happen.
The gash is at middle of eye and all the way to the end/corner.

Please keep the prayers up as this will be his first time under sedation. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Positive note:
His CT came back all clear and no issues with his head.
Thank the lord.
