There are places that make you feel small in the best possible way. Guanella Pass was one of them.
No ballroom. No timeline built around tradition. No trying to make their wedding day fit someone else’s idea of what a wedding should look like.
Just the two of them, Colorado stretching out in every direction, and a day that felt entirely, unmistakably theirs. Adding a picnic to lock in their time together and add a little more sparkle to these moments.
This is why I love photographing elopements.
Not because they’re smaller—but because they leave so much room for the things that actually matter. The quiet moments. The wind in your dress. The way your person looks at you when there’s no one else around. The kind of memories you can feel years later.
If your dream wedding looks a little less like a production and a little more like an adventure, I want to hear about it.
Colorado, the coast, the mountains, somewhere meaningful to you—I’ll meet you there. 🤍
