Lighting test.
I wanted to create a film look, so I framed for a 4:3 AR which also amplifies the mood of the character.
The lighting was pretty simple,
Key was a GVM 80D(5600k)with a 50degree honeycomb grid to focus light only on subjects face,
A negative on camera right to create contrast,
Another GVM 80D(1/2CTO) being motivated by house lamp to edge subject.

Finally after months of being so inactive posting on here, I can finally share this project I worked on a few months ago for
The past couple months has been filled with the learning and experimental process of growing as a cinematographer. This music video is the very first I worked on as a DP, and one of many I hope to complete this year.
After long days of shooting and long nights of editing, it’s safe to say it was all worth it. Here are some stills from the video. Link in Bio.
