Some stories are just meant to touch your heartā¦ and sweet Re*****onās story is absolutely one of them.
Today I had the honor of meeting this beautiful baby girl and two of the most loving mommas. After 11 years together, countless rounds of IVF, heartbreak, hope, and finally the incredible gift of a surrogate and donorā¦ Re*****on made her way into the world and straight into the arms that have waited so long for her.
And let me tell youā¦ she is PERFECT.
8 lbs 9 oz of pure chunky goodness with the sweetest cheeks and the calmest little spirit. She was an absolute dream for her newborn session today.
One thing I learned today completely amazed me. I had no idea it was even possible, but did you know a mom can actually induce lactation and nurse her baby even without physically carrying them? Science is incredible. Watching Caity still be able to have that bond with Remy was honestly so emotional and beautiful to witness. Love truly finds a way.
This little girl is already surrounded by so much love, strength, perseverance, and devotion. She is the very first grandbaby and already so incredibly adored by everyone around her.
