Okay horsewomen… I’m looking for 20 of you 🐴📸

If your horse has been there for you in ways most people wouldn’t understand — this is for you.

I’m booking a handful of women for 2026 to photograph you and your horse in a way that feels real, relaxed, and actually like you. No awkward posing. No pressure. Just your connection.

Open to women 25–70+, all bodies, all backgrounds.

✨ And truly — if you’re 40+, I would love to photograph you. Your story matters more than you probably realize.

What I’m looking for:
🌾 That deep, unexplainable bond.
🐎 English, Western, or liberty.
🌙 No riding needed — just you and your horse.

P.S. These tend to fill fast don’t wait too long if it’s on your heart. Sessions are done in the evening during the week at sunset so it won’t interfere with shows.

It all started with a photograph I found at Thanksgiving. Obsessed with looking at grandma’s photo albums, I pulled one out and started flipping through, when I got to an image that stopped me dead in my tracks. There was a thump in the chest. There he was, an image of my beloved childhood horse Jack. My first love.

Looking back, it was an image that brought me back to the field where we spent most of our time together. I would pluck grass for him and brush his hair, as he would sweetly reach his nose towards me for attention.

Jack was 28 years old when I met him, and being an old roping and barrel racing horse, I could tell he was happy with his retirement of trotting around the pasture with a beaming 8 year old girl on his back. Nothing else mattered but that red gelding.
Now, I look back at that time in my life with a full heart and sweet memories. As I still search for photos of him in my grandmother’s library of photo albums, I wish to create photos for you to look back and remember the time you spent with your horse. May that sweet soul always be with you. 🧡
