Hello, it’s me 👋

I have an idea and I’m trying to gauge interest -

Anyone who knows me knows I have a big heart for animals, especially dogs.

I’m thinking about starting my photography business back up but specifically for pet portraits only. Mostly dogs but would be open to most other animals as well.

This is still just an idea at this point, but would anyone be interested in modeling their dog for me in exchange for a free gallery?

I have a couple shoot ideas and might need multiple volunteers for this if everything goes the way I’m hoping.

Currently on vacation and received an email with some film I sent off to be developed.

I had 7 rolls of film that I practiced with and wanted to get developed to add some photo examples to the marketplace listing for my film camera.

It’s difficult to express the emotions I had when I opened these film scans. UGH. I never thought I’d be good enough to shoot film.

Film is just that - rolls of film. 16 photos per roll. You don’t get to look at a camera screen to see the way the images turn out. You only find out when you receive the film scans in your inbox. It takes a lot of skill to shoot film and I AM JUST SO PROUD OF ALL THESE IMAGES. Reminder that these are straight out of camera - no editing, cropping, straightening, or retouching.

If I return to photography in the next season of my life, do not be surprised. 😂 and thank you for reading if you made it all the way through this long post 😅

I just got back from vacation and still have a small list of sessions to edit!

I have a couple weddings still left to finish and they will be my first priority. I am working as quickly as I can - if you’re waiting for a gallery, thank you so much for being patient with me.

I do go on vacation again in two and a half weeks so I’m going to try to have most of the galleries sent before then. 😂 just wanted to update you all!

Yesterday was so magical. I cannot stop looking at these photos.

Days like yesterday make me not want to quit. I cannot express how thankful I am to have had a team of the best professionals with me all day to make things go smoothly. It is so important to have your photographer, videographer, dj, caterer, and truly all your vendors, get along and work together!
